The discs fall straight down to occupy the lowest available space within a column. The primary objective is to be the first to connect four of one's own discs in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
The game uses an in-game currency system, where a single coin is required to participate in each round. Additional coins can be obtained through an optional in-app purchase, allowing for extended play.
